The Board and staff of GCSD would like to thank Director and long-time Board President David Clemmer for his contribution to the District. Mr. Clemmer recently resigned from the Board due to health reasons, although he continues to provide assistance to the newly appointed Board President, David Upchurch, and the interim General Manager.
While on the Board, Mr. Clemmer worked tirelessly to manage finances and rates, and to lower costs for ratepayers. He successfully negotiated several hundreds of thousands of dollars in contracts for qualifying expenses, keeping the District's vendors and consultants accountable.
GCSD offers our sincere thanks and gratitude for his service to the District and community and wishes him the best! Thank you David!
